Vaccination Update
Boosters
If you had your 2nd dose more than 6 months ago you are eligible for a booster. In line with government guidelines this has recently been extended to all those 40 years and over.
The options for getting your booster are as follows.
1. Book an appointment via the National Booking Service Book or manage your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination – NHS (www.nhs.uk) or by calling 119. You can book this from 5 months after your 2nd dose. However the date for the jab does need to be 6 months later.
2. You could also go to one of the Walk In Clinics Find a walk-in coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination site – NHS (www.nhs.uk).
The 6 Practices in Townships 1 ( Sothall, Hackenthorpe, Mosborough, Owlthorpe, Birley and Crystal Peaks) are continuing to work together to deliver Covid Boosters at Beighton Health Centre.
We are working through the priority Groups according to age and risk. Please do not contact your Practice, we will contact you when we reach your priority group.
In addition to the clinics that are taking place at Beighton, practices are working hard to ensure all Care Home Residents and Housebound patients receive their booster. Please bear with us we are trying to get through these as quickly as possible.
