Telephone reception problems this week

Unfortunately, due to a number of issues our reception team is extremely short staff this week. In the interest of patient safety we have recruited the support of Sheffield’s out of Hours collaborative https://www.sth.nhs.uk/news/news?action=view&newsID=901. If you call the practice number 0114 228 4900 a message will inform you that the practice is closed (it is open) and your call is being redirected. The message is fixed as we usually use this service to cover training sessions. Our practice is open but the collaborative will deal with your call. For this morning, where appropriate this may mean returning your details to our remaining team to deal with, for this afternoon they may offer patients an alternative service. We are confident that our service will resume again as normal from Monday.
