Are you looking after someone?
1 in 10 people in Sheffield support a child or adult who couldn’t otherwise manage due to a disability, illness, frailty, mental health problem or addiction.
Nearly 11,000 people doing this unpaid role are registered with Sheffield Carers Centre so they can get the information, advice and support that they need.
They are in touch with carers who visit a loved one a few times a week through to those doing full time support; some carers might look after more than one person, have child care responsibilities and might be juggling managing paid employment.
Sheffield Carers Centre is for all adults looking after someone in this way. Everyone who registers will receive a Welcome Pack including a free Carer Card that gives you discounts and offers on products, activities and services across the city, as well as a regular newsletter and a list of the support we offer.
Register with Sheffield Carers Centre to get your free Carer Card, regular newsletter and access our information, advice and support services.
