Phonelines Update
Posted on April 6th, 2022
We have received an increase in queries from patients believing they have been cut off when trying to telephone the practice. This isn’t a fault on our phones but means our telephone lines are at full capacity.
To hopefully avoid any confusion if you call the surgery and the phone queue is at full capacity you will now hear a message advising this and asking you to call back later. This doesn’t mean you will need to call another day; you are welcome to keep trying until there are less patients in the queue.
We appreciate it can be frustrating trying to get through on the phones, but we are an extremely busy surgery. If the matter is non urgent you can contact via us online via https://sothall.net/contact-us-online/
If are calling to order a repeat prescription, there are several ways to do this online including the NHS APP https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/how-to-order-a-repeat-prescription/
Thank you for your cooperation, Sothall Medical Centre
