New GP Joining The Team

We are pleased to announce we have a new Doctor joining the team here at Sothall, Dr Abdullah Umer Rehan.

Dr Rehan trained as a GP in Sheffield and as part of his training has experience of working in A&E at the Northern General Hospital, he has also worked in Margate as a Junior Doctor in General Medicine.

Dr Rehan states “during my training Men’s Mental Health became one of my areas of interest and an area I feel strongly about. I also love to liaise between the different medical specialities and teams as this leads to more coordinated patient care”.

“In my free time and to de-stress I love to learn about different cultures, History, Geopolitics and International Politics. I can consult fluently in English, Hindi and Urdu, as well as basic Punjabi and am very much looking forward to being a part of the Sothall Medical Centre team”.

Dr Rehan joins us early October and is a welcome addition to our clinical team.
