Flu Clinic drop-in

Well, it’s nearly that time of year again! After the huge success of last year’s drop-in flu clinic we will be holding 2 sessions this year.

Due to a delivery issue with the flu vaccines the first session will be a half-day for adults only.  The second session will then be a full day for both adults and children.

We will have a Health Trainer available on the day to answer any questions you may have regarding healthier lifestyle choices and social support. There will also be 2 Patient Forum Volunteers helping out on the day.

You should have the flu vaccine if you: 

• are 65 years of age or over   
• are pregnant 
• have certain medical conditions 
• are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility 
• receive a carer’s allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill
