COVID-19 Vaccination Update 12/02

Additional clinics will be running from February 17th – 21st and February 25th – 28th. These will be added later today and the next cohort of patients should expect to receive an invite asap.

NHSE however has announced that those patients in cohort 5 (patients age 65-70) will receive an invitation from the National Booking Service to attend a vaccination centre or community pharmacy rather, than through their GP.

Primary Care Networks (PCN) in other words your doctors surgeries will in turn focus on those patients in cohort 6 (age 16-64 with underlying health conditions), which includes those in clinical risk groups and carers. It is believed that patients in this cohort have long term relationships between general practice and it helps for them to have continuity of care.
