FIT –the new NHS Bowel Cancer Screening test

 Are you aged 60-74?

The NHS Bowel Screening Programme offers screening every two years to all men and women aged 60-74, who are registered with a GP.

You will automatically receive a test kit in the post with instructions.

Once used, you post the kit in its prepaid packaging to a lab for processing and should hear back via letter within 2 weeks of sending in your sample.

 Using the kit takes just a few minutes and it’s an easy and effective way to detect bowel cancer at an early stage, before symptoms show.
