Ask Your GP A Question
In General Practice there has been a lot of change and strain on the system. This has been unsettling for some. We realise communication and the chance to ask questions and challenge is very important.
To enable this, we are trialling an online ‘Question Time’ style event on Wednesday 1 December, 6pm-7.30pm for patients in this area. We would love as many people to come to this as possible.
Confirmed on the panel is Ben Allen (GP Birley HC), Helen Lenthall (Manager Hackenthorpe), Joel Blakemore (area lead community pharmacist). Staff from CCG and Healthwatch to be confirmed.
Have you got a question? Why is hard to get through on the phones? Why do receptionist now ask personal questions? What is the best way to get medical help? How are GPs deciding who to see face to face? Problems getting medications from the pharmacy?
You don’t have to ask a question to attend, if you prefer we can ask it on your behalf. There will also be an opportunity for you to respond to what you hear from our panellists.
